Kraków 3D is the first large-scale initiative in Poland to document a city’s heritage using spatial technologies. Thanks to modern drones and photogrammetry, Kraków gains accurate digital replicas of its most important monuments and architectural landmarks. The Kraków 3D models we create allow users to explore the city’s heritage and architecture with remarkable precision and detail. These models can be freely rotated, zoomed, and examined to reveal architectural features often overlooked in real life. The project also has an educational and popularizing mission — it enables people with limited mobility or visitors from abroad to virtually tour the city. These digital reconstructions are also useful to architects and urban planners, who can incorporate them into spatial planning tools. Kraków 3D is not only a digital archive of monuments but also a step toward creating a modern, interactive city guide.

Thanks to this initiative, Kraków becomes the first city in Poland to document its heritage in such an innovative way and make it widely accessible to the public.
